Year 3

< Back

A warm welcome to Year 3.

The teaching staff are Mrs Booth, Mr Rudd, Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Crompton and Miss Caldwell. We respect that children have the right to a high quality, inspiring education that builds upon knowledge, talents and abilities.

The children are encouraged to take risks with their learning with the understanding that we can learn through our mistakes. We have a creative curriculum which changes termly. Information about the Year 3 curriculum can be found on the school website. Year 3 will be exploring each of our topics through a wide range of activities that cater to different learning styles.

Within our class, there is a big focus on our school’s Christian values. These values help the children to become well-rounded individuals who enjoy building on their learning. The children can enjoy celebrating their own and each other’s successes.

As the children are now in Key Stage 2 they will be encouraged to show more independence both in their learning and when organising their possessions.
