School Improvement Priorities 2026-2027

• Priority 1:

Raise attainment and progress in writing across the school, with a particular focus on improving outcomes at the end of Key Stage 2 and for disadvantaged pupils.

• Priority 2:

Improve phonics and early reading outcomes so that attainment is at least in line with national averages.

• Priority 3:

Increase the percentage of children achieving a Good Level of Development (GLD) in the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly in communication, language and literacy.

• Priority 4:

Strengthen curriculum leadership to secure consistently high-quality teaching, well-sequenced curriculum delivery and improved pupil outcomes across all subjects.
